Barto Trucking was born out of Sioux City and the surrounding area’s rising need for Hazmat delivery to the area’s ethanol and bio-diesel facilities. With 9 trucks and 15 tankers, Barto plans to continue to grow and prosper in meeting the needs of its customers and employees. Barto’s parent companies, OFC Corporation / Schmidt Transportation out of the Omaha / Plattsmouth, NE area have been meeting the needs of bulk-liquid suppliers by means of tanker truck since 1992.

OFC and Schmidt bought Barto Trucking in 2005 with the idea of servicing Sioux City area shippers and ethanol facilities. Since 2005, growth in the industry is becoming exponential. Because of this fact, Barto has plans to become one of the area’s largest hazmat carriers in a rather short period of time.
